Great esteem belongs to board of directors and the staff of DPS “Helcle” in Cracow.

It is not easy to introduce a small group of dogs to spotless and extremely clean corridors, to agree for visits of chronically ill patients confined to their beds. It is not easy to say “yes, you are welcomed, we will see how your dogs behave” since recent smear campaign and general unwillingness to dogs.

We should bow with respect to old, single people. They don`t close in their suffering and helplessness, contrary, they are ready to welcome the dogs with a smile. They are able to break their fears and bias and love the dogs that do not belong to them, they truly attach to them and await other visits to express their genuine feelings.

What is more, appreciation belongs to teams of guides and their dogs visiting DPS “Helcle”. These are Waldek with Tequila, Anna with Lucky, Joanna with Leo and Dorota with Saga who come most often. Then, other people joined us- Judyta with Corsa, Agnieszka with Karol, Teresa with Atos. These are the people who come disinterestedly, they assign their forenoons for the visits every two weeks since the last year`s autumn.

Are these dogs able to beguile the autumn of life to old, very often afflicted with illness and single people? See the photos.

This is not a dogotheraphy, yet. We all know that. If we manage to bond good relations with centers for the disabled children, then, the best goldens will face the most difficult task- they will try to help the children touched with severe illnesses and improve their mind and health with doctor`s and therapeut`s help, all these are included in the program.

The perfect golden is a dog working for people. Remember, the breed was created for this purpose - not for amusement and not against other dogs or people.
